Whilst living in Melbourne, Fiona completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Melbourne University. In December 2008, she moved to the Gold Coast to join our team and be closer to her family in Queensland. Fiona arrived in the sunshine state with a considerable furry family including two cats, Penny & Toby and two dogs, Riguez and Alice. Her love for all kinds of pets has found her presently fighting the urge to add guinea pigs to her special furry family.

Fiona’s special veterinary interest is in small animals and loves everything about cats and dogs. She is also interested in birds and exotic pets and in the future would like to further her knowledge in that area. In her spare time, Fiona is refreshing a past interest and studying kung fu which she enjoys for the social, fitness and self defence benefits. She is also a very important member of The VETS touch football team.
